DeliveryRite FIELD GUIDE

A dependable dispatch handoff

The order should be ready, identifiable, and assigned before it leaves.

Verify the order

Check the order reference, contents, packaging, and any approved handling instructions. Keep customer details in the designated order system.

Assign the handoff

Name who releases the order and who takes responsibility next. A status change should reflect a real handoff, not just a timer.

Plan exceptions

Define what happens when the order is delayed, access fails, or the customer cannot be reached. Use a clear escalation route.

For food delivery

Review suitable food-handling and transport procedures using the FDA resource and applicable local guidance. This checklist does not certify food safety.

Keep the conversation grounded.
