DeliveryRite

DeliveryRite FIELD GUIDE

Communicate the next useful update

Customers need accurate expectations, not a stream of unsupported promises.

Set the expectation

State the service area, available windows, and relevant conditions before the order is accepted. Base estimates on the actual operating process.

Use meaningful status

Distinguish accepted, preparing, handed off, and completed. Do not imply live tracking unless the underlying system truly provides it.

Handle a delay

Give a factual update through an authorized channel and explain the next step. Keep staff from making conflicting promises.

Learn from issues

Categorize problems such as packaging, late handoff, address access, or missing items. Improve the process rather than only sending an apology.

Keep the conversation grounded.
